Looking to advance your truck driving skills? At Northstar Truck Driving School, we offer various vocational courses in Windsor. Our diploma programs include our enhanced AZ & Flatbed Training Program. Each driver training program gives students a “hands-on” familiarity with the modern transportation equipment used today. Anticipating the growing need for skilled truck drivers, this course is designed to respond to the ever-changing industry and its demands. With this course, along with our other vocational classes, you will be well-equipped for your new career. Because of this, students leave with the professional driving skills and confidence that employers recognize and value.
AZ PROGRAM
“AZ” license holders are qualified to drive a motor vehicle and towed vehicles where the towed vehicles exceed a total gross weight of 4,600 kilograms (10,000 lb).

AZ & FLATBED PROGRAM
“AZ” license holders are qualified to drive a motor vehicle and towed vehicles where the towed vehicles exceed a total gross weight of 4,600 kilograms (10,000 lb).
Our flatbed course teaches proper placement and securing techniques to make your load safe, secure and able to pass inspection.

TRACTOR-TRAILER MELT
Effective July 1, 2017, the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) will be implementing mandatory entry-level training (MELT) for commercial Class A truck drivers. All of our courses are insurance-compliant and adhere to the new MELT standards.
